The Call Importer tool allows you to import lists of calls from other tools. Select a Call Log to import calls into.
Import a CSV file into the Archive
You do not have permission to manage this Call Logs. This is possible if you have no Bosses that you are assisting or if you don't have permission to do this for your bosses.
The Department Address Book entries are available to everyone within a department. Pick an option below to manage the address book for the department.

An address book in CallPlease is useful when adding calls as it allows for quick data entry. Instead of having to type in a person's name, company and telephone number, you pick from a list of people in the address book. Please note that CallPlease is not your primary contact management system - it works as part of your main address book.
In CallPlease there are three types of address books:
  • The Executive / Shared Call Log - for people who interact with an Executive or Shared Call Log
  • The Department address book - for business or enterprise customers who use departments
  • The Global address book - for everyone within a company
There are multiple ways to populate the address book but it all begins with the address book owner.
For the Executive's Personal Address Book on their Mobile Device:
An Executive can easily and quickly download their personal address book into CallPlease. Once downloaded, anyone can access those contacts from the Web app. To download the address book, go to the Settings page, tap on the SYNC CONTACTS button. This syncs contacts - names and phone numbers only. Then it encrypts and stores them in CallPlease.
For All Other Address Books or for Manual Updates:
Here's how you import your existing contacts using the Web app. From your current contact management system (Outlook, Contacts, etc.), export either a vCard or CSV file. Then pick the tab related to the type of address book and import the file. Note that if you are importing for an Executive, Shared Call Log or Department, you must first pick the name associated with the address book (such as department or shared call log name). Access to Department and Global address books is restricted to individuals with specific permission.
You can also edit/delete existing entries and manually add new ones. Once you pick the type of address book and the call log owner, use the Search and Add buttons.
One more note: As new call messages are added into CallPlease, if the caller is not known to the address book, that person is automatically added. If the setting to receive vCard entries of new additions is turned on, you will receive a vCard in your email so you can add that person to your contact management system. Access this setting from your personal menu (the one at the top right with your name) under Profile & Call Settings.

Import File into Archive

The first step is to import your file. It must be in CSV (comma separated values) format. Your file could include the following columns of data: Name, Phone, Message, Call Action, Time and Date. Once you have imported the file, our system will analyze it and give you further instructions.
Now that the file has been uploaded and verified, the system can analyze and make recommendations. If you are ready, click Continue below. Please note that this may take a minute or so depending on the number of calls.
The vCard file has been analyzed and compared against the existing address book. Please note that any duplicate entries, during loading, will be updated with the new vCard information.
